Apparently not, but I guess it's more appropriate to have some extra boost to make the entire unit sounds warmer, than simple high pass filters wich can easily and more precisely be done ITB. Imo anyway...Can't wait to hear some sound exemple ! Power Factor Correction (PFC) allows the use of smaller, lower cost bulk capacitors, reduces power line loading and stress on the switching FETs, and results in a power supply that fully compiles with IEC-1000-3-2 specifications. Intended as a BiCMOS version of the industry-standard ML4824,CM6800 includes circuits for the implementation of leading edge, average current, “boost” type power factor correction and a trailing edge, pulse width modulator (PWM). Gate-driver with 1A capabilities minimizes the need for external driver circuits. Low power requirements improve efficiency and reduce component costs.FEATURESPin to pin compatible with ML4800 and FAN4800Additional folded-back current limit for PWM section.23V Bi-CMOS processVIN OK turn on PWM at 2.5V instead of 1.5V Internally synchronized leading edge PFC and trailing edge PWM in one ICSlew rate enhanced transconductance error amplifier for ultra-fast PFC responseLow start-up current (100μA typ.)Low operating current (3.0mA type.)Low total harmonic distortion, high PFReduces ripple current in the storage capacitor between the PFC and PWM sectionsAverage current, continuous or discontinuous boost leading edge PFCVCC OVP Comparator, Low Power Detect ComparatorPWM configurable for current mode or voltage mode operationCurrent fed gain modulator for improved noise immunityBrown-out control, over-voltage protection, UVLO, and soft start, and Reference OKComments

2025-04-13Slotted flaps: Single-slot flap Double-slot flap Triple-slot flap (used in commercial airliners) Fowler flapThe most effective type of flap. Instead of just tilting downward, it extends rearward, significantly increasing the wing’s surface area. This results in a major lift boost while minimizing drag. Commonly used in large commercial aircraft. Other specialized flaps include: Krueger flap – mounted on the leading edge of the wing to enhance lift. Junkers flap – an external, pivoting flap commonly found on older aircraft designs. Flap control systems in modern aircraftFlap movement is precisely controlled using electro-hydraulic or electrical systems. These systems allow smooth operation and adjustment to the desired flap position. Pilots use dedicated cockpit levers to deploy or retract the flaps at different stages of flight. What are slats on an aircraft wing?Another important wing modification system is leading-edge slats, also known as slots. These are located along the leading edge of the wing and, like flaps, improve the aerodynamic properties of the aircraft. Slats delay airflow separation, allowing the aircraft to fly at lower speeds without stalling. In combination with flaps, they provide a significant boost in lift, reducing both takeoff and landing distances.ConclusionAs you can see, aircraft aerodynamics and flaps play a vital role in all phases of flight. The proper use of flaps is essential for maintaining flight safety and operational efficiency.Read similar articles
